GEAR
The studio is built around a 32 channel analog Toft ATB Console with 8 summing busses and inserts for all 40 i/o's. Each channel has a four-band EQ which allows for quick and tactile adjustments while tracking or mixing. There are also 6 aux sends available per channel, which I have normalled to my Hearback Headphone mixer system, which puts the control of your headphone mix in your own hands.
The console is normalled to an Orion 32 interface via the extensive patch bay, which has 480 patch points, allowing extensive routing to the outboard gear and recording rooms. I also have a 24 track reel to reel tape machine (Otari MX-80) for running fully analog sessions. It is also possible to track on the tape machine, then dump the files into Pro Tools for further editing/mixing.
I keep a number of outboard processors and microphone preamps on hand and have an extensive microphone collection to tackle any sonic requirement. Along with this, I keep a bunch of instruments on hand (drums, guitars, amps, keyboards, hand percussion, fx pedals) all at your disposal.
